This is V18.5's AI working as it should have been in V18.5. I think save games should work fine with the hotfix too.
It'll work for any copy of V18.5. Desura will just replace it when you update if it's a Desura copy rather than a standalone.

This is my bad, I did a terrible job of removing the Dreadnought from the game. I've now fixed this in the dev version so it'll no longer appear at all.
Yes, we've confirmed this now. There was a bug in there where the aliens couldn't see the Xenonauts.
I think there's a bug in it. They were pretty aggressive after the AI patch last time, I assume something broke between then and V18.5. We're looking into it.
Aaron's first balance mod should be arriving shortly. Maybe I'll prod him into having a look at this once it's out. Some of the changes will be superseded by his own, but some of the others look...
