  1. Haha, fair enough, Larus. Thanks for the info Gauddlike!
  2. Haha, Sounds about right. I've been told that Pathfinder is essentially just a straight upgrade from 3.5e, but I haven't gotten my group to try it yet. My current group's been jumping between 3.5e, Call of Cthulhu, and Numenera for a while. Always nice to run into another tabletop fan.
  3. Trip-Fighter with Guisarme and enlarge person potions all day erry day. EDIT: Also, I was struggling for a good sword name for the corsairs, since they're such a brawler compared to the earlier planes. I do like the distinction of edged vs blunt for air/ground vehicles though.
  4. It does somewhat annoy me that lasers are continually portrayed as firing strawberry jello packets at sub-sonic speeds. The lasguns in Dawn of War 2 do it right, in my opinion.
  5. My current bases are themed around firearm inventors/designers/etc. For example, there's Kalashnikov base in Russia. My interceptors I named after various melee weaponry. Condors are all Broadswords, Foxtrots are Stilletos, and Corsairs are Morningstars. Don't have any names for my ground vehicles (yet).
  6. If I drag an item, say a medkit, from my backpack to the primary weapon slot, it will swap places with the currently equipped weapon. this usually costs 16 TUs. Sounds like you've got some kind of bug going on! There's a forum specifically for bug reports, I think, so you should check that out and let GH know what's going on in your game.
  7. One could argue that the "fiddly bits" of the weapons and the "fiddly fabrication bits" of the armor are more time-consuming than just slamming a new engine into a plane or some such. I do feel like the construction times could be trimmed down a bit. Seems like it takes forever to build any significant amount of laser weaponry sometimes.
  8. I like this solution very much. Especially the expanding of grenade AoE, while reducing splash damage. The very small radius of the explosive grenades feels very awkward to me, so I've stopped carrying them mostly. If they were more for AoE damaging (and killing on direct hit) I think I'd use them more often.
  9. I'd definitely like a memorial, if at all possible. It really enriches the idea of all these slain soldiers defending Earth, and would let a player look back and remember the final stands, the blazes of glory, and all the poor rookie door openers.
  10. I'd prefer to disable reaction fire on MC xenonauts. It's reasonable that a soldier might not fire on a friendly, and is currently very frustrating when it happens.
