  1. Started new game after hotfix 1. First light scout, caesans. I made save at the end of the turn when it happend. One of remaining aliens in fog of war shoots to civilian through wall. No load previously. In the attached savegame alien shoots somewhere from left part of the map (still unexplored), civilian is like in the lower middle of the map - still alive, but has been hit. Shooting alien by my opinion can't see him, i.e. squadsight was used from the only one visible alien in that round.   2. Same thing in my current game. After first 3 small scouts, can't rearrange troops in Chinooks too (not sure if I could before - didn't try / need it). Not sure if it is due to hunter - i have it researched (without turret) and still manufacturing my 1st one - so only troops in Chinook. Maybe because some of "original" troops are KIA and/or wounded?
  3. Confirming that bug. In my case, present after load ground combat autosave from the beginning of the ground mission. Geoscape save/load looks OK. Don't want to load, but in my second ground combat probably the last alien stayed in light scout. Can't find him anywhere and I can't open the door (don't know why, icon appeared, soldiers had enough TUs, but no move from selected soldiers) So I throw a grenade, door burts open, soldier makes few steps ... and CTD, that smoke bug mentioned elsewhere ... But the game looks very, very well! (thumbs up!)
  4. Playing standalone, all light scouts (three in the current game) were empty - got some alloys and that's all ... No other points/research subjects/higher ranks/ etc.
  5. Confirmed in standalone. My current game was saved/loaded several times. In ground combat with small UFO game thinks there's no UFO at all - as mentioned above, no points for UFO secured, UFO's walls don't break LOS, etc. as above ... Also it seems to me, than when any alien spot my soldier, all aliens start shooting at him in hidden movement phase (their turn) - even if they can't see him from their location (corner of the map, or so). And in that case firing through obstacles (rock, UFO). Trees look ok (catch fire).
  6. Thanks for solving save/load issues! Good job In 17.91 standalone, new game, 1st ufo (small one - scout). Game kinda stucks in ground combat. After moving my soldiers closer to the crashed UFO, enemy fire from UFO starts. And after this, in one, maybe two rounds after hidden phase the game stucks. I can see UI, but can't move view, can't select soldier, nothing. Music plays, mouse cursor moves but that's all. In attached savegame you can also see soldiers stuck in packs (haystacks) in Chinook, can't move them at all - the bug was mentioned before, just confirming. And seems to me after loading savegame some of enemy "projectiles" are invisible. Not all, but some of them. Before loading I can always see enemy fire.   7. Just trying new build and can't load savegame after my 1st ufo down - even autosave1 is corrupted. Standalone version, deleted the whole (game) directory, than unrar a new game, old saves deleted from in-game menu and completely new game started. Than shot down 1st ufo and sent chinook. Can't remember any other difference between good and bad save.
  8. Not sure if this is the right part of forum, so please move if needed It's actually not a bug, just suggestion or opinion ... Did you notice, that in the initial base you have only two places where to place laboratory and/or workshop? If it was intended, ok. But I can't make more workshops or labs without destroying some (already built and paid ) facilities - looks like wasting time and money for me. So maybe just a thing for polishing before beta comes up ... Thanks developers for another build, it will be great game! Edit: It is the same for living quarters, it is also size 1 x 2 tiles.

In my case it was my second ground mission in the game - only caseans (I think they are caseans, just tried the aplha, have not much time to play... looks little bit like humans, blue sweater or what it is ... ). Just one scout down, nothing else ... I have save at the beginning of the ground combat, can upload save if it helps. Trying to play that save again, same thing happens in the second round of combat.
  10. Firstly, you're making a great game, can't wait for final version. In my last attempt to play 17.6 alpha, second ground mission, moving my troops around ... in 1st round 1 alien killed, after the 2nd round hidden movement screen, I've heard two shots and than fire sound, like something's burning (grass caught fire probably). Music played all around, game looks (well, actually sounds) like it works, but that hidden phase never ended. I waited several minutes, 10 I think, and still nothing - music plays and burning sound plays and nothing else ... game process wasn't "non-responding" in task manager
