Umm I was wondering how to use the strider scout plane! Is it a fighter, the xenopedia entry makes it sound like a mobile radar lol. Any advice would be appreciated!

I have a slow laptop this I know lol. Xenonauts runs a little slow on the geoscape but is very much playable! During ground combat I get masive slowdown on some parts but it runs perfect on other parts of the map! I don't understand why. I have already tried switching to the compatability branch but then the game wont launch..? I was wondering if there were any tips or tricks to improve performance while playing or any settings I could change to smooth out GC! Thanks in advance not expecting miracles but any help is appreciated!!

Hey thanks guys I did a clean install with about 12 mods graphics, guns, etc..it works fine!! I'll beat vanilla first then try x div and xnt!!

Hello I am a marine on leave here in beautiful SC!! I was gifted a new laptop and purchased Xenonauts on Fri.! Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to play my son informed me of mods due to his obsession with minecraft!! I thought I would give it a go I wanted Xenophobia and the random map packs also the Xeno genesis mod, also I downloaded some of the smaller mods like fire in the hole etc.. My issue was I installed Xenophobia started a new game and my soldiers have no weapons... I then added more mods like XCE and now my game wont open... I want help with a listing of mods that I should download and the order download them!! I also don't know how to change the starting funds for Xenophobia I know to use the gameconfig.xml but I cannot find the file anymore?? Please help out a jarhead so he can enjoy some TBS action before returning to the field!! Thank you guys and thanks to all who work so hard for this game. I plan to uninstall and start fresh after getting help!!

Help please downloaded xenophobia and some other mods!! Seems fine except my soldiers have no guns or other equipment to equip!! Also I cannot locate my game config file to change starting funds!
