I used Steam to download and install XCE, and then started a new game. I had eight troops assigned to "Charlie - 1" the starting dropship, then I went over to the aircraft screen and changed the dropship's name to "Alpha Team". When I went back to the personnel screen, all eight were still listed as being assigned to "Charlie - 1" but if I clicked on them to reassign them the only options were "Unassigned" and "Alpha Team" except "Alpha Team" was grayed out. I then went back to the aircraft screen and when I clicked on one of the team members the game crashed. Not entirely sure what's going on but it looks like the name change on the dropship isn't being communicated to the troops.
