  1. Will Xenonauts be able to use any melee weapons besides stun batons? In Terror From The Deep there were things like vibro blade or thermal lances which dealt a lot of damage with small time unit cost, the obvious tradeoff was getting close to the enemy. Such weapons would come in handy while breaching UFOs or in narrow corridors and would make ground combat more intense than just picking off ETs from the distance.
  2. Variable lighting - it would be cool if, for example, interiors of UFOs or buildings without windows were dark inside, with reduced visibility even when mission takes place during the day. Or the other way around, visibility is 100% in well-lit buildings during the night missions. Weapon customization - for example, an assault rifle could have couple slots for additional equipment - flashlight, additional grip, laser sight, 40mm grenade launcher, something like mini-shotgun attachment or what have you. It would make the weapon more versatile and could create more tactical options during combat.
  3. So I'm frustrated because I just lost 2 people while trying to get inside a building in which an alien was hiding. I placed the first guy three tiles away from the door thinking it would be enough. It wasn't - the alien was able to shoot me without any cosequences, I didn't even spot him. After containing the situation I recreated the situation and it turned out my guy's line of fire was blocked: and the alien could shoot freely: Can someone explain to me what is going on here? And one more thing, how was he even able to see me when the wall is clearly blocking the line of sight?
  4. I just wanted to report a bug (however I don't know if it's fault of the mod), the thing is when I click on the crashsite the description says it's a desert area, but when the dropship arrives it turns out to be a city. It started happening recently when bigger ships showed up.
