  1. Yes I changed the soldiers in gameconfig and weapong_gc.xml for weap stats. But this has nothing to do with that... No added object, armor weapon etc. Almost stock except some accuracy values
  2. The save file becomes corrupt and causes a ctd as soon as is loaded after you reach the Carriers as the UFO's. As this is quite late in the game It took quite a doing on my part to recreate. (Spelled, Cheat) I have tried 3 different games and every time save game becomes corrupt is after the carriers show up. Anyone else with similar experience? It behaves as it makes a wrong function call after the load such as a variable is mistyped or such.
  3. This requires editing some of the base game files. It is pretty straightforward but if you are the type that gets the blank look with anything technical, than don't... Also, I am sure most of you have already figured this out:) I prefer and use Notepad++ for all my text, html and xml editing needs. It also boosts your ego and makes you a better person. http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ Goto the folder: ...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Xenonauts\assets or wherever you have the game installed. find "gameconfig.xml" Assuming you are using Notepad+, Hit CTRL+F This will bring out the find dialog. Search for "<soldierDevelopment>" without the quotes. This effects how and what attributes your walking alien bait's are going to progress. APProgress effects your TU's PointsToProgress is how much of that action causes a point to be gained. By reducing this to "1", you gain 1 extra TU for every TU you spend in/during the mission; limited to the maxpointsinsinglebattle value and capped by globalmaxprogress value Here is the one I have prepared earlier. Just copy and paste if you like. Enjoy.
  4. I just leave 4 or so equipped soldiers in bases and completely forgo the defenses. Seems to work. Although a bit more expensive to maintain.
  5. You are supposed to assault the city being terrorized.
  6. It actually has nothing to do with his configuration. It is an honest bug report about display layers.
  7. I haven't tried it, I just rearmed the craft. It is not a bug perse and is easily correctable anyway.
  8. When you buy a new F-17, it comes with a sidewinder loaded on it's gun hard-point and a cannon on its bottom missile hard-point. You have to rearm it properly.
  9. Something is wrong with the way psionics work as well. I finally get to the carriers, downed one. First turn works great, When I click the en turn and start to get xxxx yyyy has been revealed to the enemy forces, It CTD's... Investigating and will post more information as it becomes available. Edit: Here is the save if anyone feels like having a look I have tried changing all psionics activity TU's to over 100% effectively disabling them.   11. Yes, I have done that. Also reduced the chance for the UFO power core to explode to 0% Even checked the smoke.xml to see if there was an obvious mistake. Oh well, it did say, unstable:) I shall leave the rest to the devs...
  12. Thank you for the weapons_gc xml file I had already done that one myself. But this does not help with the heavily damaged UFO's As in fire and smoke in the engine compartment. On or off screen. I have tried to set smoke and fire dissipation to 100% in config, gameconfig. Still no joy, I think there might still be a tile smoking or something off screen. FYI
  13. Say, you have enough materials to build 5 Wolf Armor, you start to build 10. Instead of the insufficient Materials popup, game crashes.
  14. Confirmed. The problem also affects the Advanced Medkit.
  15. I can confirm this bug. But with stun grenades... Flash bangs works fine. If you use a stun grenade, game crashes after mission.
