  1. Expansion packs have been around for a while, I don't think they're anything new.
  2. www.polygon.com/2013/1/9/3855318/xcom-enemy-unknown-really-awesome-next-dlc Not sure if you've seen this yet, but after the response to the pretty terrible Slingshot pack, they've decided to totally scrap the planned second Slingshot style DLC, and instead are working on something big, with new items, aliens and maps being mentioned. Hopefully it'll include some new mechanics too, since Firaxis has admitted that they oversimplified the Geoscape.
  3. Since suppression was added, would it be possible to add Ja2 1.13 style full auto and controlled machine gun sweeps? In Jagged Alliance 2 1.13, weapons could be fired fully automatically; you could add onto the length of a burst of gunfire, with each additional bullet costing a small number of AP. You could also perform a controlled sweep of fire by dragging the mouse after clicking, which would draw a path for the soldier to fire on. This let machine gunners suppress a group of enemies with one burst. Combined with the addition of suppression, and the penalty for moving before firing a heavy weapon, a machine gunner could fill a dedicated support role, keeping enemies suppressed from a stationary position with long bursts of gunfire while the rest of the squad closes in on the target.
