JoseG25
I saw that my crypto decoder told me that it was a ship with 16 androns. I let all my suppresor machineguners at home, full the pockets with magnetic grenades, put my tank on the door, forgot all gas, stunts and no-letal things. I began the mission and the first thing happened was a shot from a harridan on the roof were my rockets and grenadiers can't reach. And worse of all this is that I wanted pick an alive harridan. What happened?
Max_Caine
It's not lying to you, it's not complete. Harridans are a support race for Androns - where you find Androns, you find Harridans. This is an omission, rather than a deliberate lie.
Steelpoint
If you don't mind minor spoilers. You can always except the three main species to have one support race attached to it in the mid to late game. So while you may be fighting a crew of Sebillians, they will also have several non-sebillians along with them. Sebillians have Reapers Androns have Harridans Ceasans have Wraiths

Solver
This is a bug and not intentional. Fixed for X:CE 0.28.
Solver
Also, the current display is wrong because it adds all aliens together. A crew of 12 Androns and 3 Harridans would be shown as 15 Androns in the quantum info.
silencer
If you don't mind minor spoilers.Sebillians have Reapers Strangely it's only true for Corvette and bases. On Landingship+ it's Harridans. Don't know where Alphas appear.
Steelpoint
True, its not as binary as the original XCOM. As far as I can recall, I've only ever seen Harridans with Sebillians on Landing Ships. There is some minor variance in the ancillary species and their main species. But for the most part its as I stated earlier.
