Xe138
This seems to be the case regardless of situation in the game. This causes the game to stop responding. The game is not successfully saved after the freeze and forced exit. Can anyone else confirm this?
llunak
Funny one. It's presumably because AUX is a DOS/Windows reserved device. So it's like trying to save to /dev/null on Unix.
ploxiln
It's a windows thing. see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa365247%28v=vs.85%29.aspx Do not use the following reserved names for the name of a file: CON, PRN, AUX, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, and LPT9. Also avoid these names followed immediately by an extension; for example, NUL.txt is not recommended. For more information, see Namespaces. Moffmaster
Can confirm. Stumbled upon this trying to save 'com1' (as in x-com1).
