  1. All right, troops! Inside this here un-I-dennerfied flying object, we have knowledge of three alien hostiles! They have killed one of your comrades! We are going to go IN there, and we are going to clear them out! Got your weapons ready, men? No, not those silly guns! Put them aside, we won't be using them. Just drop 'em off over there or something. Now, get your flashbangs ready! Line up in front of the door, two by two, that's right. No, we won't be using "cover" today. What are you son, some kind of coward? Namby-pamby modern boys and their "cover" and their "not wanting to take plasma bolts to the face." GET IN LINE, MAGGOT! As soon as I open this door, you are going to throw your two grenades, then run like hell! Then the next two will step up and do the SAME THING! And if they're not bleeding from the eyes, ears, nose, and whatever other orifices these aliem beasties have, then we will just have to throw more grenades! Nothing can go wrong here! Breaching in 3... 2... 1... P.S. Thanks for the new grenade arcs
  2. I think it'd be nice to have the ability to set up (and even better, save once set up) formations and then move groups of soldiers in formation. For example, the ability to form a squad consisting of a machine gunner, 2 riflemen, and a medic, arrange them so they're covering each other, and then move them all at once while keeping them in formation, would be very useful for crossing open spaces (one click instead of 4). You would, of course, break up the "autopilot" when an enemy was spotted (similar to how movement stopped when you spotted an alien in the original X-Com), but for covering space, it would be useful... It would be even cooler if you could "script" or save deployment patterns out of the transport... These suggestions come from the parts of the game I found tedious in the original X-Com...
