There was absolutely nothing wrong with what you said or how to said it. I thought it was just me who felt throwing was a little pricey, especially night mission. It would be nice if you could move a bit and chuck a flare in one turn.

Huh... It tells me it's soldier statistics and it will be implemented in the future. It took the roofs off though.

I was on a map (farmlands with a big barn) and there was an alien inside the barn shooting me but I couldn't see inside because I didn't have a solider inside. It's not a big deal, I still shot him but it is kind of annoying. Also, and this is very minor, but could you make the rank insignia's true to life?

This doesn't happen every time, but It's happened to me a few times already: During ground combat when I kill the final alien where the debriefing screen is supposed to pop up it just freezes instead., like I said, it doesn't always happen. It's happened to me about 3 or so times in about a dozen or so missions. If I reload a save and kill the last alien again it works fine. Sorry if this has been posted before, also it you need more info I'll be happy to provide it.

Wait... which one was Jackal? The one I was thinking about is the next one after basic, the one that just looks like normal body armour and combat helmet with a blue jumpsuit underneath. Sorry I can't remember the name of the armour, it's been a long time since I played the Alpha or whatever it was. -Edit- Ok, yeah, I got it, Plasma Pistols, Thanks guys! I figured Alien Alloys would be the gateway to better armour...

I've been out of the loop for a while but I've downloaded and played the latest (from Steam, I don't know what version, I just downloaded it a couple days ago) and I love it so far, but I was just wondering where the Jackal armour is? I've researched Alien Alloys, Alenium, Hunter Armoured Car, Stun Weapons and a few other things, so, where is it? Did it get taken out of the game? If it didn't how do you get it?

Solider roles are just for quickly setting up and equipping your soldiers as far as I can tell.

I'm actuall glad there's no Blaster Bombs, I never used them in EU and I always dreaded later missions because of them. I also like Humans not having Psy, again I never really used it but I did enjoy the suspense of the aliens having it. Also, also I like how Chris is planing to have it so you're never at a technological advantage over the aliens and like how the biggest baddest UFO's you won't be able to shoot down easily or at all. Overall this game is shaping up to be equally as good as the original X-COM in my opinion.

I don't have a screen shot but this happned to me on the farmlands map. I'll get a picture if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Hello internets people! I'm Kyle and I'm from Canada, Eh? but enough aboot me... I recently purchased the first three original X-COM games (Yes, even Apocalypse, I liked that game...) through Steam and I am extremely excited for this game, it's not even in beta and it's still better than any other X-COM reboot to date! That's something to be proud of, so congratulations Chris and the rest of the Goldhawk team!

About guns, I was thinking maybe if there was an SMG type gun; smaller, lighter, weaker and less accurate at longer ranges than a rifle but better for CQB and maybe classed as a one-handed weapon and having the laser/other weapon tier equivalents. I was just messing around in the soldiers tab and looking through the 'roles' and seeing commando and thought SMG, probably just a dumb idea.

Sold out, eh? Well hopefully they do add more eventually. I would get myself killed on the fist day I bet...
