Trying to click on the manufacturing option "Alloy Shield Upgrade" crashes the game.

I actually like the tier-based weapons and infinite flares.

There was also planned a super-mega-uber armor which you could use in the very late game. And flamethrowers.

Engineers don't make money well, like at all. You always use alien resources to craft stuff anyway, so I wouldn't recommend it. About the defense question, most soldiers will defend the base. I haven't seen any limit.

Hey, he saved the base a bunch of times and is a freaking genius (designing aircraft in a few hours like it's nothing), so I can kinda forgive his bad attitude. But yeah, I would love to know if Chris based him on someone he knows.

Oh yes, these new layouts will work rather well, I think. Lots of open space and cover to satisfy the aliens' needs. Looking forward to try them out.

I had that problem. It was caused by the mod being outdated and not in sync with the new version of Xenonauts. Try downloading the latest version and see if it happens again (if you haven't already).

Wait, what exactly does it break? I'm using v1.3 and both Lore+/FitH and OppresiveUI are working fine.

Odd, I haven't had the bug in the following landing ships. It was apparently a one-time thing.

Sorry for the bump, but I totally forgot to mention this. I'm also using the optional patches for the doors. The file Open Doors - Exterior actually contains two folders: Exterior & Interior. The file Open Doors - Interior contains only one folder: Interior. Since there are 2 Interior parts and they overwrite the same files, I only installed the Exterior part of the file Open Doors - Exterior and the Interior part of the file Open Doors - Interior. Perhaps it's somehow related?
