Just add some sparkles for daytime missions:p

This idea is hilarious. I would definitely pay full price for an expansion like that.

If you like Civ5 - you will like G&K. I hate almost everything about Civ5 and can't recommend it to anyone.

Kickstarter Goes Live!
SilverMoonFlare replied to Chris's topic in Xenonauts-2 Releases & Patch Notes
Congratulations on the 150$ mark, Chris. There is still hope that we'll get close to the next mark. If not...well...every dollar counts when making such a great game:D- 629 replies

May Development Update!
SilverMoonFlare replied to Chris's topic in Xenonauts-2 Releases & Patch Notes
Upgrading to next tier straight away is too OP. Purchasing the upgrade would be nice for balancing. $$$ + alenium(or one alien power source for every turret) + alien alloys = upgraded turrets. -
Firaxis Games' XCOM: Enemy Unknown announced!
SilverMoonFlare replied to Moonshine Fox's topic in Off-Topic
http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/05/25/xcommunication-xcom-enemy-unknown-interview/ Another RPS article. I'm beginning to fall in love with RPS. Can't believe i spent so much time without acknowledging them and sticking to PClamer instead. -
Where the hell is my country?

"It's game over man,GAME OVER!" can be a great achievement name for losing a reaper/chryssalid mission:D -
Iceland Incident Novella
SilverMoonFlare replied to Chris's topic in Xenonauts-2 Releases & Patch Notes
An american author writing a book about a russian soldier sounds like a bad idea to me. Guess i'll give it a try and criticize the living alien crap out of it if it fails to deliver:p- 222 replies

Proposed Stretch Goals:
SilverMoonFlare replied to Chris's topic in Xenonauts-2 Releases & Patch Notes
Reaper hive sounds scary as hell. I remember lurking in the assets folded before it was sterilized...they look disgusting and brutal. -
Being a heterosexual male-nerd without any special perks i prefer to have pretty female characters in games i play because i don't get any attention from females IRL:p Also, sausage fests suck and a little variety is always welcomed. And female soldiers were in the original X-COM:D

Stretch Goal Poll Options
SilverMoonFlare replied to Chris's topic in Xenonauts-2 Releases & Patch Notes
A lot of indie games implemented better lighting (Minecraft, Terraria, Project Zomboid). Add lampposts and other sources of light for additional atmosphere:D I would put that to 100000$ mark. -

The article is 110% positive. The idiom is used to show how good the guys at Goldhawk are by releasing the demo along with the Kickstarter so people can try it and shape up their mind about the game. Most other project only offer promises without any actual gameplay videos, etc...

Stretch Goal Poll Options
SilverMoonFlare replied to Chris's topic in Xenonauts-2 Releases & Patch Notes
Additional mission types (defending a friendly military base) Additional tiles may include port towns (like in TFTD), forest and jungle maps. -
He means "a pig in a poke". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pig_in_a_poke "The idiom pig in a poke can also simply refer to someone buying a low-quality pig in a bag because he or she did not carefully check what was in the bag". Buying something without knowing what it is. In the original russian version it's "cat in a bag" (Кот в мешке). Oink!

Pilots taking up space.
SilverMoonFlare replied to craftomega's topic in Xenonauts General Discussion
I think i saw Chris saying about not upgrading current interceptors to next tier because it will create a lot of problems. Simple air combat? My irony meter is about to explode. Current air battles are complex and require careful planning and luck. Simple air combat = 2 plasma beams with a range of 52 kilometers:p -
Pilots taking up space.
SilverMoonFlare replied to craftomega's topic in Xenonauts General Discussion
The idea of pilots getting XP has a lot of potential. Here are some bonuses for leveling up: 1). A small chance to evade enemy fire without using evasive roll. 2). A small chance to inflict critical damage on the UFO. At higher levels the advantages will be massive and losing a high level pilot will be a disaster. -
Warlock: Master of the Arcane - Paradox/InoCo's fantasy civ game.
SilverMoonFlare replied to Jean-Luc's topic in Off-Topic
I think paradox guys were too lazy to create their own UI because the UI in Civ5 is one the worst i've seen in any game. The graphics are a huge step forward. Everything is so colorful and feels alive. Gameplay reminds me of Master of Magic and Elemental. -
It's really sad that we won't be able to equip alien plasma guns. They look so slick and sexy... I have a suggestion about plasma clips. They need to be recycled into laser cells and other alenium-based clips that future guns may use. Let's say...2 alien clips for 1 human clip.

Aircraft scatter laser "drools"... But what about reducing the weight of flares to 0?

Build V10 Released (Kickstarter Press Build)!
SilverMoonFlare replied to Chris's topic in Xenonauts-2 Releases & Patch Notes
I'm still waiting for them to have a weight of zero. 2 extra kg at night missions is pretty rough.- 138 replies

Firaxis Games' XCOM: Enemy Unknown announced!
SilverMoonFlare replied to Moonshine Fox's topic in Off-Topic
Firaxis is almost dead and X-COM:EU will be the final nail in their coffin. They already ruined Civilization. Legendary Sid Meier is nothing but a delirious old fart who only cares about making "accessible" games for facebook and console users. 2K triggered these delusions by forcing Firaxis to make games that a lot of people would buy. -
Build V9.5.1 Released

It's available now. Time for some bug testing:cool:
